I can currently get my 7900 to 500/1400Mhz (450/1320Mhz Stock ) but cannot push it any further without getting artifacts or a frozen screen.

If I up the volts on the NB, would there be a chance to get a bit more out of my GFX?

Many Thanks :)

I have the same mobo and more nb volts would stablise the cpu and memory overclocks.

I also run the pci-e bus at 131mhz, not sure it does anything good but nothing negative so far either :p

I found upping the PCI-e bus from 100 to 110 gave me a 0.5% boost in 3D Marks 06 scores... hardly worth it so assuming it scaled upwards with the same efficency 131 would prolly give you at most a 1.5% performance boost... hardly worth it for the increased risk of causing problems with devices using the bus...

Im not certain there is much risk or if any other bus is linked to the pci-e speed or not. I only have pci-e graphics.
Maybe the PCI bus is at 44mhz now ?
The pci IDE raid card seems ok & same for the IDE drive.

However if upping the speed doesnt really help a 7950GX2 then its probably doing squat for my x1950pro
