hey guys I'm going to pick the software version up for xbox 360 and i wanted to know if i can just play the game with the gh3 guitar and no drums, or are the drums and microphone for multiplayer.

To answer your question, you'll be able to play with just a guitar if you want to. You can play through single player as lead guitar or bass guitar as you normally would, but also as vocalist or drummer. You only need the drums/mic if you want 3 or 4 player sessions or to play through the single player as drummer or vocalist.

So in short, they're not required
