how on earth does one set texture quality to high, please please don't say you need a card with 512mb memory? if so i have two 7600GTs with 256mb each, should that let me use high quality textures?

You only have 256mb Ram as one card loses its memory, like when you pair 2x 512mb GTX's together in SLi, you don't have 1gb gfx card memory, you only have 512mb as you lose 512mb. :)

Oh and sorry, you do need a card with 512mb memory, as your still running 256mb as said. :p

You can still run high settings by editing the renderer settings .xml file.
It's in the data/settings folder & you need to open it with notepad then change all the texture_quality values from 'medium' (assuming that's what they're on) to 'high' then saving it.
Don't use auto detect under video options again though as that will reset them:)

will a pair of overclocked 7600GTs handle GRAW with that set to high or will there be stuttering, slowdown, etc?

only one way to find out..........try it!

If it stutters, just run the auto detect option & it will reset the config file.
