I've always been on the look out for a good sniper game and I think this new game coming out next month may be the one.

Not sure what the multiplayer will be like when everyone is sniping... camp-fest with nobody moving etc?

I'm hopeful that it plays out well. I really enjoyed the "Hidden" spec-ops mission on MW2... so if it plays like that, then I'll be quite happy, anything else would be a bonus

Bullet drop doesn't work like that, you adjust the sight so you still have the target in the crosshair.

no you don't only if ur a total noob when i used to do field target i always used a mil-dot illuminated reticule and allow for windage and drop.

Don't know why they just don't get advise from real snipers or shooters. Think nearly all sniper games have been point crosshair over target pull trigger and then dead.

That's because most games are "arcade" style rather than simulation. Realism is often sacrificed for playability. Added to this, most people believe that's how it really works. After all, that's how it is in the movies...

Depends what movies you watch.

Shooter was quite good (i think that was the name) for it, the whole thing about the sniper and spotter at the start and the assassination with tons of windage stuff. But yeah most revolve around the style of 'the bullets go where you point' or use the STALKER philosophy (in reverse) where your opponents can't hit a barn door with an automatic weapon.

Think I will stick with my Soldier Front addiction.

Pure refined multiplayer gameplay, free and much more fluid movement than CSS.

An old vid of one of the best Korean players. I play USF b.t.w. which now has european servers.
