Okay the graphics are terrible, the story/plot is non-existent, and yes it’s a throwback to the arcade games from 10 years ago......but thank **** it is. I loaded this up this evening and I’m totally hooked.

I’ve always been a fan of arcade on-rail shooters, from the likes of Operation Wolf, onto the laser disc games and then the big Namco and Sega series such as Virtual Cop and Time Crisis.

Ghost Squad on the Wii has this spot on, it’s a no brains shooter based on reactions and timed reloading, yes nothing to it at all but a great simple enjoyable game which shows why the Wii is selling by the bucket load.

Now if Nintendo can just sort out a Namco license and get the Time Crisis games on Wii I’d be a very happy guy.

Was thinking of getting this in the supermarket for £25 but then thought nah as I remembered it had no wide screen support and that coupled with all the other negatives I had heard was enough to put me off.

I think Umbrella Chronicles was okay but anything worse would be a no go for me tbh

Got it upon release. Despite being so short it is surprisingly replayable with lots to unlock and levels having a fair amount of variance as you progress.

Not sure whether it was worth the £25, but overall it's very enjoyable, the exact type of game I bought a Wii for.

Isn't this the game that looks absolutely shocking graphically? Someone posted some screenshots of a Wii game a while ago and it was a shocker.

I'm glad you're enjoying it, it's nice to get some old school gaming in :).

graphics arent that shocking, Its def not ps1 standard. The worst looking wii game is without doubt gt pro.
