Sold mine when was bitcoin craze, might get one again as i just cant justify 2080ti price, still will have 200 extra in pocket
They are EOL, whatever is left now is all that remains of the 1080ti stock. If demand keeps increasing then expect the price to rise not fall. Now for 689

Well they have been EOL for a while now, before gibbo dropped the prices even. But demand for the 1080ti increased with the 20 series launch and nvidia isn't making any more 1080tis.I’m glad I got in when I did.

With places like gamers nexus also pointing out that the 1080ti stock is dwindling and no more are being made, demand is probably only going to increase.
Maybe we will see a price drop on the 2080 cards when 1080 series is completely diminished ?
2080 may see a drop, i doubt 2080ti will due to supply issues.Maybe we will see a price drop on the 2080 cards when 1080 series is completely diminished ?
Depends. If they continue to sell, why bother dropping the price?
They might reach their official prices eventually though, $699 for 2080 and $999 for 1080 Ti.
However, the only way the 2070 was able to sell at the $499 msrp was through cheap fans/heatsinks. Suggests nvidia haven't left much margin for AIBs.
Well the 2080 hasn’t exactly been flying if the shelves ...
All the time the 1080ti is cheaper and offers comparable performance theres no reason it would. But once the 1080 ti is gone you are left with 2070/2080/2080ti. And 10 series below that, so 1070ti i think is the highest performing card they are keeping in the lineup going forward.Well the 2080 hasn’t exactly been flying if the shelves ...

I just can’t wait to start blowing stuff tomorrow when my 1080ti arrives ... it’s been a while
That's what she said.I have it in my hands
To be honest I'd expect a boost in sales once games start utilising the new features. For sure you can compare with previous gen in regards to current sales but we've not had a recent new gen case where new GPU's have been released with new tech that is not yet put to use. If new games reveal the true potential as NV think will be the case there's going to be a rush to upgrade I reckon - so the sales will peak further into the lifecycle.....once the space invaders are dealt with .According to GN, 1080ti sales were over 10x higher than 20x0 series sales on his referral links after 20x0 launch. So we now have both gibbo and Steve saying it.
I know, it looks **** at the moment but we'll see . Pity it wasn't slipped into a new release like Read Dead Redemption which seems to be quite a large budget title - that's what is needed. NV''s DLSS list so far looks a bit naff I do concurYeah in 5 years or so when DLSS is possibly a popular thing in new games I agree the 22 or 23 series of cards may sell well because of it.
