My eyes are always opened, but we missed out on the bulk of cheap 1070 stock being sold at a loss by a distributor in financial troubles.

We did bag the 1080's and RX 480 stocks though. :)

Will see if any 1070 deals come along.

Dont see how a 980Ti can be a bizarre acquisition. Its going cheap some places and even cheaper second hand. Clocks up and past a 1070 so its slightly faster. So saving quite a few quid for 2Gb less money and it consumes slightly more power and produces slightly more heat can be a nice trade off for some who have a tight budget.

No need to be an ass and call people chumpsters.

More memory, newer architecture, less power, cooler, warranty, all these things are worth more than a meagre false saving.
