Runs at 80oc under load, fan at 60% (default profile) so I can not clock it.
If I put the fan to 100% it drops to 70oc but anything over 70% fan gets too loud,70% fan gets me 78oc.

Mate, you can overclock these by quite a distance whilst maintaining very low noise and <70 degree temps. Great cards.

Power limit: 180% via modded bios.
Temps: hotter card can hit 89 degrees with about 75% fan and 91 degree temp target after a long session.

I would go gigabyte (if there's blocks available) due to the increased power limit and better RMA.

You're right, it doesn't need to be that high. It never uses that much.

The card usually runs between 68-71c but when overclocked it can get up to 74-75c if it stays really close to max power limit for a bit longer. Don't know why it runs that hot, maybe it's my case and/or mediocre cable management. Still a nice GPU though.

What fan speed do have it running at they temps? I hit about 65 degrees with my MSI overclocked to 1500mhz at 65% fan speed (still very quiet)
