**GIBBO's WEEKEND SPECIALS: PERFECT FOR CRIMBO OR JUST TREAT YOURSELF!!**

There is zero issues with Crossfire on X79. When 7970 first came out, I had three running in an Asus X79 mainboard in Tri-Fire, worked great.

I also have a friend who is known on here as Loki who is running four 7970's in Quad Fire, without issue. :)

A number of people on the Asus ROG forum would seem to disagree. :(

Also, you said you had 3 running in Tri-fire (in eyfinity?), but don't now? Can't have been that good if you got rid of them :)

Hi there

I was referring to crossfire sorry, never tried eye-infinity. I was testing them when they first came out, so not my own kit and at home I don't have a PC.

I tried to buy the following
Patriot Viper "Black Mamba" Generation 3 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel kit (PV316G160C9K) @ £59.99 inc VAT

but no free P&P with this ram ?
I did try some other ram, below & above this price and they gave me the free P&P ok

I fear by the time i get back here to check your answer the offer will be done.
Regards

Should work fine, the product is set no differently to any other.

P.S. The Black Mambas all had crazy weight setting in our internal system, I've fixed, it should work now so try in 15 minutes.

Just checked again, still same,
maybe try again in a few mins incase the system not had time to update.

strange this !

still same, no luck.
maybe something trying to tell me i dont need 16gig lol

anyone else tried this to see if it adds P&P ? when all the rest of the ram dont

ok seems to be when I choose ram that costs over £60 or £65 then it adds P&P
but the ram im trying to buy on offer is below £60,
but i presume the reason is the original price was [£89.99] Inc. VAT

You are better off posting in the customer service section of the forums. It will be seen by staff and replied to quicker.

I've just tried it and it gets Free Postage fine. Clear your browsers cache, hard refresh the page and try again.
