Giffgaff Internet...

Mines been better recently - up until a month ago or so I was barely getting dialup speeds with a full H+ signal during daytime. (Its definitely a GG problem as swapping over to the O2 sim = 10-14Mbit/s down).

You're on Giffgaff to use the internet? What are you doing with your life?

Working? ;)

Been on GG since the start and use WiFi at home but when out about or at work then obviously use 3G data. Never had a problem until recently. £12 a month was perfect for me as I didn't want to be tied into a contract. Problem is that it'll be difficult to jump ship as my phone (4S) is locked to O2.

There is a thread about how rubbish it is on this forum section (on phone so hard to find for you)

I moved to 3 three months ago and never had a problem. I can now watch small clips and listen to music on YouTube without it stopping every few seconds :-)

Three is definitely better for data speeds, Giffgaff was only worth it when they offered unlimited for £10, now they are charging the same for what is horrible service in most areas when it comes to data

The only thing making me hesitate in switching to three is that I've heard so many people moan about them, but nothing else really seems to come close price wise if you want a decent amount of data. What's the general consensus on three here?

I've never really had a problem, though I don't tend to monitor my speeds I get 4G at Wolverhampton and full 3G in Telford in most area's. I'll report back when they implement 4G fully as I was only on a trial bag but I seem to recall 17mbps as a speedtest.

Its not so much speeds with three that concerns me, everyone seems happy with that. Its customer service and stuff like that. Then again, I'm with giffgaff so I'm hardly used to amazing customer service. :)
