As titled really, i get no signal hardly anywhere anymore and rarely any internet coverage.

I'm also looking to get a note 3 so I dont have to lug my nexus 7 around.

What operator has good coverage in Kent and Suffolk? Im also moving to Maidstone so I understand 4G is there so is the note 3 4G?

It's very area dependent for all networks what sort of signals you get.

My mother's side of the family is based around Maidstone and we usually visit them so I have some experience there. I'm with GiffGaff (uses O2's network) and I get signal fine, although I admit it's not exactly the best. My mum's on Virgin (uses EE) and signal is pretty strong for her. My brother and sister on the other hand is with 3 and they get no signal at all. Vodafone I'm not sure on, my youngest brother is on Ovivo but he has a habit of leaving his phone at home...

But basically it might be best to get a pay as you go SIM from all networks just to test the signal strength, maybe top up a little money to do a speedtest as well. And yes, I believe the Note 3 is compatible with the UK's 4G networks.

This. Best suggestion.

I've just got Ovivo sim it runs on Vodafone network I choose their Ovivo freedom sim very cheap never need to top up sim no monthly fees it's for light mobile phone users they have other sims plans worth checking out to.
Don't anything about which network would be the strongest signal though for your area.

Giffgaff has got pants for me to. It has been since we all got cut off for a day or 2.

Internet is absolute pants and the signal ain't that great anymore either.

The problem is that O2 (who Giffgaff use) have a network that isn't designed for the internet. Their network is effectively a 2G network with 3G added on. This is why 3's network is so much better because it was built for 3G from day one.

Clear example: speeds on 3's 3G network are better than EE's 4G network (often)!

I'll think i'll order a sim for Vodaphone, 3 and EE to determine signal strength. I guess I don't even need to top-up credit, I can judge it by bar strength and the little H in top.
