Giffgaff terrible at delivering text messages recently?

Anyone else on GG and having issues with text messages never turning up, or turning up about 12hrs late? My other half and I are both on GG and it's becoming a joke now. We were both out separately last night, she sent me texts at 23:42 saying she was heading home, I got them about an hour ago

I also texted her at 23:50 and 00:25 and she got neither of them.

This has been going on for a while now but not quite so bad as that. Quite often I'd text her to say I'm heading home from work and they turn up after I get home.

Also on my OPO my signal is generally crap now. I wonder if it's to do with getting 4G recently? :confused:

No problems for me here, although I hardly do text to other giffgaff users, just people on other networks. All other giffgaff users I know use WhatsApp (and other data based messenging services).

Texts are fine with me and others here, my signal has always been rubbish indoors though with my Oneplus one but can't 4G

Mine are ok but I get awful 4G speeds around Birmingham, 2MB down most of the time

Hmm, I left giffgaff a few months ago and come to think of it I did used to get text delays on occasions, I didn't really put it down to them at the time but I guess maybe it was. And I was thinking of moving back...
