Gigabyte 480 SE/SOC - Post your overclock!

OK, I know a lot of folks have bought these cards over the last few weeks so I thought I'd start a thread were we could compare overclocks. It'd be interesting to see if the SOCs are actually any better at overclocking over 820 core compared to the SE.

Anyway, mine:

Voltage: 1.1125v
Core: 830MHz
Shader: 1660MHz
Memory: 2100MHz

I've managed to push mine up to 860 on these volts and was stable in everything other than OCCT, where I got 100s of errors inside 5 minutes, so I scaled back my core clock a little.

I'm quite sure the card will do much more but I dont want to increase volts that much.

There's no way I'd get close to that on my SE. Looks like difference between the SE and SOC is more than the pre-OC and dual bios then? Seems like the SOC are much higher binned chips...

Wow i must be quite lucky, I have an Asus 480 and run the clock at 840 on stock volts. Havn't touched the memory though.

Maybe the memory clocks are limiting me. I'll try downclocking my mem back to stock and see if I can push my core higher.

SE version only not the overclocked one and stuck a load of ramsinks on the back of it to help.
I run with this 24/7
Temps are under 80 always and the fan doesn't really make much noise.

Nice card man, I struggle for 850 stable at those volts.

Now running 850 and higher mem clock too on stock voltsfps up to 58 not pushed any harder yet but i think thats good for stock volts
