Hey guys i was looking all over the internet and no one has this card, only OC.UK are "saying" ETA: 01/02/11 which is why i pre-ordered it from here, but i got the feeling that they will not have it in stock by today at all. Does anyone know why are the 560 SOC so delayed??? and on some sites it even says Discontinued.

thanks

I had two of these on pre-order, but have since cancelled. No point in paying for something, then waiting indefinitely for it to arrive! OC guys were very helpful with me. Offered change the existing order so i wouldn't have to go round the whole cancel -> reorder something new route.

probably because Gigabyte have clocked it too high and are getting problems

I did wonder how gigabyte managed such a high clock with hardly any difference in the price. ASUS bogo generic 560 ti was more expensive at launch than this which seemed a little strange.

Now you can understand it if they managed to somehow secure the best silicon but that surely comes with a premium price tag

that did come to my mind which is really worrying me =[

The msi twin II frozr one

Just out of interest, have you tried to over-clock it yet? I'm looking at this model because it can be had for more or less reference prices. In every review i've read it has hit 1Ghz, sometimes even without extra voltage.

That's exactly the case with mine, I've overclocked to 1ghz and haven't had to change voltage. Idle's at 37c never peaked above 68c.

so if you could go back, you would go for 470?

Yeah if I could go back I'd get the 470 but only at the £143 price, else GTX560 Ti all the way. Saving £50 and you can overclock the GTX470 quite well, especially the MSI one as it has better cooling

Awesome - just what i wanted to hear! Cheers mate. Tbh, i wouldn't be too bothered if i had to push the voltage a little to get to 1Ghz, but to get there without is obviously always preferable.

No worries, I'm sure it will overclock even faster than 1005mhz but that would require more voltage (I've got to 1GHZ on stock voltages). The card is eating every game I'm throwing at it right now :)
