Gigabyte AX370 “E6” code

Hey all,

Just built a new machine and it won’t post, motherboard is showing an E6 fault code but can’t find anything online?

Specs:

Gigabyte AX370
2700x
Sapphire Vega 64
16 gym Team Group Nighthawk RGB 3000mhz

Do you know what version of the Bios is on the board?

looking at the website it needs to be on F20 for it to support the 2700X processors (link below)

Maybe the board is old stock and does not have a bios that supports the CPU. I had to get a boot kit from AMD (free of chage just needed to prove I brought the parts) when I built my sons 2200G to update the bios. I doubt this will be the case but does it state a bios version on the box anywhere?

first result when searching for a E6 on that board brings up a post mentioning a bios update being required

F3 was the last bios that was released the 1700x\1800x
