Hi all,
I am new to the site so hopefully, I can start contributing, but first I am hoping to get some advice on an issue that has recently developed on a 3yr old GA-AX370 Gaming K7 MB.
The issue is that when powering on, all fans spin up, MB lights up but I get no signal to the monitor and it does not even post (Searching for DP/HDMI Signal). I have noticed it has happened since A) I reinstalled windows to UEFI, ready for windows 11 in future and B) Updated the BIOS to F50e. The issue appeared originally when I was using a display port cable, so I switched to HDMI and it seemed to be resolved and has been working fine for maybe 2 weeks but recently I am getting the no signal image on HDMI as well. This system is not new at all, and has been running with the same components for 3-4yrs without issues so it seems to be related to the recent clean install of Windows 10, UEFI or the latest bios update?
Attempted fixes
1) Changed HDMI/DP cables and ports on the monitor.
2) Swapped out the GTX 1080 for a GTX 1050Ti, same issue (So cannot be the GPU surely)
3) Fitted my m.2 drive into another PC fitted with a GTX 1050Ti and loads into windows perfectly.
4) Reinstalled the video drivers while booted into my m.2 on the second PC with the 1050Ti fitted.
4) Tried to clear CMOS, and removing the battery
I am running out of ideas as it will not even reach the BIOS, which is a frustrating thing but everything powers up okay. Anyone else got any idea? I know my MB has a backup BIOS and does show the debug codes but using that is new to me, so I am happy to try anything but please be patient with the explanations. Happy to post any codes that appear when I get the chance if this helps.
