The gigabyte B650 is a new motherboard and it will not post on first boot. I tried it again after 10 minutes, and it still not post. Is this motherboard knackered.

No lights can be seen on the motherboard. Kept tapping the del key, but could not get into the BIOS. Have left the computer for 30 minutes to allow for memory training. The amber light on my monitor remains on.

The computer hardware works and fans are running.
Memory in the recommended slots?
Checked cooler for being too tight/loose?
CPU power (usually 8-pin) is connected?
I'm assuming you're just getting a black screen, but all fans are running?
Is CPU supported (or likely to be supported) with the shipping BIOS?

4x8gb=32gb the cooler is Ok, ony 1 CPU pin is in securly.
Can you explain what you mean by this?
Also, what CPU exactly are you using with the motherboard?

The power cpu for the board was 1 plug. Ryzen 7 7700x
I would see if it boots with a single stick of RAM in the slot recommended by the motherboard's manual.Try a couple different sticks, one at a time, to mitigate the possibility of testing a bad one from the batch.
Is there any reason to rule out a simple display issue? Remove the graphics card (if you're using one) and connect to onboard video.
Test the monitor and its cable independently if possible.
After trying the ram and monitor I'd try unplugging and reconnecting the CPU power and 24 pin, then try re-seating the CPU.
Also double-check the motherboard's mount in the case and (if possible) shine a torch down the gap between the board and the case. Could be resting on an errant screw or mounting post that's shorting it out.
