** GIGABYTE BLOW OPEN THE MONITOR SWEETSPOT**

Nice but far too expensive for me, I'm currently eyeing the VG27WQ from Asus TUF.

closing in pricing. least at OCUK. Gigabyte cheaper, including IPS but 144hz vs 164hz VA. 32" just slightly more

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,320.46 (includes shipping: £33.54)

Not seen much on the G27Q but reviews aren't great on the G27QC, they say get the 32" because of the higher contract ratio.

@orbitalwalsh - just spoken to Jargan about the warranty and here's the response;

We follow the ISO 3406-2 standard for monitors, so if you were to have a monitor with one dead pixel or stuck pixel this would not be classed as a fault I'm afraid.

However, if you were to notice any issues within 14 days of receipt you can always return it back to us for a refund, please be aware with unwanted returns we don't cover the return shipping costs.

If you have any further questions please feel free to let me know and I can assist were possible :)

I'd be comfortable paying a small premium for a warranty that gives a replacement for dead/stuck pixels.

Not sure what to do as I would increase my budget for the Aorus models if the dead pixel policy is in place at OcUK.

@NikTheSHNIK - are these warranties still in place for the Aorus versions?

@GIGA-Man should be able to provide some input regarding gigabyte/Aorus dead pixel warranty . With rtx 3090 think they are busy

Rep is strong , worth waiting hour or two for official word . Lot of cash and piece of mind , and argb !!

True is this, having 1 dead/stuck pixel would bother me a lot and a great warranty that covers this area i'd pay for. I'm considering the FI27Q right now, is that the latest Aorus model?

Can't find that model on OcUK, however the price is now pushing towards the LG 27GL850-B for £439.99!

Aorus has higher refresh rate, and is matching IPS. Gigabyte G27Q is IPS too but same refresh rate but cheaper then both .
Not sure what LG pixel policy is but pretty sure no dead pixels . Also Nano tech is similar to Samsung Qled for a filter layer . Not Mini IPS panel which is insane but will be out late next year hopefully
