I am building a mini arcade machine using a gigabyte brix bxbt-1900 and need to power this and a amplifier and fan.
so was thinking of using a small pc power supply and removing all wires except 2 12v wires one for the pc and one for the fan. Then using 2 5v wires to power the monitor and mini amplifier. Will also connect a switch to turn the power supply on or of.
The gigabyte brix bxbt-1900 power supply that comes with it only outputs 2.5 amps and the 12v coming out of a 24pin atx connector has more than 2.5amps so will more amps harm the pc or will it be fine?
