I got this problem with my PCI-E Slot, Im wandering has anyone else had this problems as well:

The motherboard is mean't to have a X16 Slot (or it's scaled down to x8), but when I play Crysis I can only get AA upto 8X, same graphics card I have used in my G35 Asus Board - the AA can be ajusted upto 16.

I cannot recall any option to change any values of the scalibility of the PCIE Slot within the BIOS, is my board Faulty ?

ta.

Sounds more like a GFX driver issue. What card are you trying to use?

And id imagine Crysis isnt gonna run very well at all with 8xAA, even on an 8800GTX

No, I have the same board and never had any problems. Also, the inability to select 16xAA has nothing to do with the speed the PCI-E slot is operating at.

I'm also going to suggest that it is a driver issue - but either way, there is absolutely no way in hell you'll be able to run Crysis with 8xAA, let alone 16xAA, so this is all a pointless endeavour. :)

why not, Im playing @ 1024 x 768 w/ effects set as v.high also with AA set as x16Q, I use to play the same on the ds2r apart from the aa set @ x8 & that res. it plays well.
