Has anybody had any problem's with this board i.e myne won't overclock?Every time I go to manual setting's to adjust mhz then save it restarts twice then I go back into bios and it's gone back to auto again?
Set the memory multiplier to x2.0 and that also goes back to auto.
I haven't touched memory voltage or timing everything is the same as when I brought the board maybe it's just A faulty board?
When it reboots a couple of times like that and changes settings back to default it means the overclock failed. I've read a few times about DS3 boards that can't even do 1MHz over stock so yeah appears to be a faulty board.
I have the P35C DS3R board and it clocks upto 3.6 but it can reboot after playing with an overclock and go back to default ............this may answer my question......
my ds3r sometimes does something similiar it kinda dumps my o/c by just disableing the cpu controller so i go back in enable it and back to full o/c it does it randomly but i suspect it has something to do with my x600 gpu dying.
