Gigabyte DS4 revisions ?

What RAM problems? If you are talking about the boot voltage issue - that was an issue with GeIL RAM that had it's SPD profile information incorrectly programmed so it would not boot up as it should have. The Motherboard worked properly - the RAM didn't if I recall correctly.

All computer components should work together. As far as I am aware the only issues with RAM voltages were fixed at about the F4 BIOS on the DS4, about 4 months ago.

Ive got a DS4 coming and i downloaded the amanual last nite, according to the gigabyte site there are 3 revisions of this board.

As far as I am aware all the DS4's currently on sale are the Rev 1.0 board.

2.0s have been seen in the US & I believe 3.3s in Akihabara, Tokyo.

I'm going to Tokyo in May, I'll bring you one back! Along with all those Windy's for Yewen or whatever he's called these days...

The Ram issue was a BIOS issue, nothing to do with board revison, your board should be fine now as when i got my board months ago, it came with BIOS F3, which was a later BIOS that had fixed the Ram problem, and mine worked straight out of the box with the Geil Ram, if yuor getting a board now it will have nearenough the latest BIOS, proably about F5-F7, so will be fine regardless of wether its a revision 1x board. :)
