On the wagon, sorta
I have a G33M-S2 and really want to be able to use the gigabyte express recovery feature thats on the drivers disc that acompanied the mobo, i know there are other solutions out there but the fact this one doesnt rely on a OS is what i like the most.
Thing is when i try to back up my instalation i can only use redundant space on the OS hard drive wich is a bit of a pain as i was hoping to use a 60GB drive as a redundant drive to sit there untill i need a complete reinstall again. It seems a little daft to have your back up on the same drive as the Operating system if it fails you loose the lot.
any one know a way round this or any other utility i can use that doesnt rely on a gui based windows utility?

I can't even get it to work :(

Only got 1 primary partition with nothing else formatted and it says insufficient space?

Edit: got it working now, just deleted the remaining partition in disk manager, booted into ER2 and voila.

I agree would be nice to find a similar prog that would save the image file to a different disc, especially a free one :)
