All over.
I'm thinking of getting this cooler for my Conroe. According to reviews it does very well, except it gets loud when fan speed is at max.

Other than the G-Power, I'm looking at the Scythe Ninja and the Zalman CNP9500.

Which one to go for?

 Hi,

I use the G-Power pro on my rig (Check sig) on min speed and it does the job great :D

It is such a good cooler and it is very easy 2 take the fan off 2 clean fins down every now and then ;)

i aslo have the g-power pro and as said it is a fantastic cooler having the fan on high makes none or very little differance in having the fan on low, it keeps my cpu at 36C overclocked to 2.8ghz

Yeah, I agree, the G-Power is a great cooler. Does a super job on the lowest speed.

When playing games I have no need to turn it up. On the fastest settings it is quite loud yeah. But you souldnt ever need it on full.

I think mine is due a clean, i can see the dust building up  Oh well :D

Whats the difference between the Gigabyte G-Power pro & Lite version in terms of cooling performance or even in general they look like exactly the same design.

The Lite has a different, louder fan on it and doesn't have the blue leds to light it up. Also it doesn't come with the fan controller - the G-power Pro does.
NOTE: There is also a standard G-power that looks exactly the same as the Pro version in design and has the same fan but doesn't come with the fan controller. Quite a few places advertise theirs as the pro version but the specs don't include the fan controller, so beware!!

As for the performance on the G-power Pro, I am more than happy with mine. It cooled my clocked xp3200 very well, and currently it is sitting on top of my 2.8gig clocked 3700sd, and right now its sitting @ 29'c :D
All in all its an excellent cooler and can be had for as little as £16 inc vat if you look around ;)
