I thought I would share my full review of this fantastic GPU.

Anyone have any questions or want me to run a particular game, I will do my best to answer and test the game (so long as I have it).

Thanks to OcUK (Cheers Bailey), I also have a copy of Doom to giveaway. To be in with a chance to win, Tell me what I could do to improve my reviews (I know there is loads) and I will enter you in a random generator, which will be drawn on Saturday at 8pm :)

Could you post in the tomb raider bench thread? I wouldn't mind seeing some 1440p stats, particularly ultra wide although I accept that may be a bit "niche" and would settle for 2560*1440.

Cheers.

I can't do ultrawide but can do 1440P. I assume you mean ROTTR?

I thought you had a 4k screen? If so surely you can set the res to ultrawide and it would just have black bars at the top and bottom of your screen>

Sadly not. I have the Asus ROG Swift. A long time ago I had the first Samsung 4K monitor but hated 60Hz :(

What I would include:

Time stamps in the description to various parts of the video
An average, min and max graph for the game, pretty easy to do with Fraps and Google Sheets/Excel
Starting with this gen, an image of the core clock over a lenghty gaming session, useful information to know
If you have time, use DSR and see how it performs at 4k ect

Great points and thanks for that  Deffo will look into that for future, especially the Excel sheets (I used to add them but not sure why I didn't this time). I like the DSR bit as well and well worth a look.

Some seriously good points and I am running out of room on my whiteboard :D I appreciate all the feedback as well cheers guys and more than happy for criticism :)

Is that yellow overlay Afterburner?

Yer it is. Done with RivaTuner and added my score to ROTTR thread. Worth noting I have ShadowPlay running and several background things, so lower than should or could be but doing a fair bit at the mo and not really got time :)

Looks like payday I will be getting a Green screen. I did watch a tutorial and looks simple enough, so fair shout on that :)

Youtube is amazing. Even my 10 year son has got a Vlog on YouTube. He's just reviewed the Google Cardboard. I'm hoping he will turn into a DiamondMinecart.

If you have the presence I'm sure you can make some decent money at it.

Nice one and good to hear. I have no intention of making money in truth and I do it as I really enjoy it. I get ripped to shreds at work though but I give out so much stick, a little coming back is only fair :D

Thanks for the sub as well :) (and everyone else who did).

Is the black shroud metal? I thought it was plastic until watching this review.

Yer, I thought it was also plastic before ordering and when I got it in my hands, it is indeed metal.

Thanks everyone for the ideas and some seriously good points. I should have come here before doing it and then seen what the results were like after :D

BTW, all comments will be entered into the draw unless you say otherwise and winning for a friend is indeed allowed :)

Good video, really can't wait to get 1440p monitor lol What's your fan profile?

I always run a 1:1 fan profile for reviews/testing but for gaming, I am going to be honest and say I rarely OC. I let the card do what it wants basically.

I can slip a 480 past the Mrs (even though I told her I won't be buying anything for quite some time) and look forward to seeing what is what with that card.

Agreed, crashes are a PAIN! Esp if you have some green caches to extract :D

Left mine boosting at 2Ghz/10800 for the moment and it's performing awesomely

So SO happy with it, allows me to run at Ultra w/PCSS+HBAO+ in the Division @ 3440 res ;)

Haha, you know that and not what you want with Green Caches at all (and I would get proper huffy) lol :D

Your temps are 66C which are lower than other reviews on the web which are around 71C. I assume it is because you have increased the fan speed to 66% from the default which is around 52%. You didn't mention that in your review. Not a major difference but you need to mention such changes.

Also do a firestrike loop or similar to get a better representation of temperature under constant load. The old Tombraider or Witcher 3 will push temps higher than the Division too.

So you want me to try and make the card look bad then  I should indeed have said I run a 1:1 fan profile (I did in my first vid) and long term gaming remains the same temps but thanks for the input.

Nice video, how about comparing more games with other gpu's also and having a comparison chart

I am a bit limited with other GPUs and would love to do that but a bit limited with funds also, so not something I can really afford to do. I would also feel a little disingenuous using someone else's results but I do compare to my Titan X on other vids but solid points :)

Haha, cheers guys and you don't want to see me in a mankini :D There is a very nice young lady who lives a couple of doors away from me but then I would have bruises from the wife, so that is out :D I could do the sob story like some of them X-Factor contestants but I would end up punching myself in the head A LOT :D

Some great suggestions though cheers and some nice comments :)

Sorry Southy, I don't have Arma 3 but I can tell you that it is very CPU bound, so make sure you have a decent CPU and overclock it.

Edit:

And agreed about the mic and something I will look into later on. If my subscribers pick up quite a bit in the future, I will invest in something decent.

I find it hard to believe that The Division is fully maxed out in that video at 1440p and you are pulling those frame rates.

Are you telling me that Ambient Occlusion technique is on HBAO+, Lens Flare is On, Post FX AA is on SMAA 1XUltra, Shadow quality is on NVIDIA HFTS etc?

I will do a vid once I have finished setting up this new PC and show you the settings used. Might take a while, as I have a crap ton of stuff that needs installing but yer, I was shocked in truth.
