Hi guys i build my new rig last week and i overclocked it this is my overclock

For some reason when i put the multiplier to x10 my mobo just changes it back to x8 anyone know how to make it stay at 10? Thanks :confused:

Have you go speedstep enabled? if you have it will reduce the multiplier when it's got no load.

i cant find it to turn it off you know were i can find it?

In BIOS.

EDIT: BIOS > Advanced BIOS Features >
1- CPU Enhanced Halt > Disable
2- CPU EIST Function > Disable

On some motherboards it might just be called 'Intel Speedstep technology'

It is on mine at least.

You dont have it enabled anyway-it was showing 3ghz on CPUz. If Speedstep was in use when that screenshot was, it would be a lower clock speed (unless you have done a HUGE overclock!)

On the main BIOS menu, press Ctrl + F1 and then check again?
