Gigabyte GA-Z68XP UD3P & CPU-Z

Can anyone give me a definitive answer as to whether CPU-Z (1.59) accurately displays the correct VCore voltage on the GA-Z68XP UD3P?

I have downloaded HWinFO64 and the difference in Vcore readings is quite considerable..

CPU-Z - 1.392 to 1.404
HWinFO64 - 1.286 to 1.366

Which should i trust to give me the correct readout?

Is HWinFO64 reading VID or vcore? Also what is the voltage setting in bios?

The bios will tell you the truth. This mobo supports touch bios so install it and run it. Should come on a cd with the mobo. I have a picture of mine in this thread near the bottom:

Touch BIOS is showing 1.40v on the VCore and the 1.246 is VID

Thanks guys, was hoping that the lower voltage was the correct one as i am having difficulty getting my Vcore down and remaining stable at 4.5Ghz... Thought i had it last night at 1.38v but i still get BSOD

I take it this is a 2500k? You should be able to get 4.6ghz stable at 1.34 or below. Are your ram timings correct?

yes its the i5 2500k Ram timings are:

DRam 802.4mhz
FSB DRam 1.6
CL 9
tRCD 9
tRP 9
tRAS 24
CR 2T
