Gigabyte GTX 1060 3GB. Games often crash. What troubleshooting can I do to help fix it?

Memtest HCI as well?

I have not. I will run that tonight.

When did you last reinstall Windows from scratch?

More often than people perhaps should. Last time I did it was a month ago. This usually happens because I change my mind between normal Windows 10 and LTSB versions. I've probably reinstalled windows hundreds of times while I've had these issues over the years.

Rules out corrupted system files then, I imagine :(

This would certainly he solved by a new system and tbh all the effort you have put in is worth a new system to me.

You could buy them parts at a time. Maybe a psu and just use thay for your system now and if it fixes it great you've done it and dont need to get new motherboard and cpu etc.

Obviously this might not be affordable but I would have lost it by now and either quit or bought new lol

I feel I am making some progress, I hope.

I ran memtesk HCI last night. I ran multiple copies scanning about 3gb each.

When I woke up, I was greeted to this:

Since I have 4 x 4GB sticks and since I could only test 3gb at a time, looking at the image above, at least 3/4 of my RAM is bad?

Annoying how memtest86 found no errors and this application found multiple.
Have I missed something?
