have oc stopped selling the gigabyte gtx 480 soc's . mine has gone back too gigabyte coz stopped working . and looks like it is the same for a lot of other people ???

Yep. You'll probably get a GTX580 OC as a replacement. That's what happened to me and some others.

I realise this benchmark doesn't take into account the OC or SOC editions, but should give you a rough idea on the jump from a 480 to a 580

It took about 2 months from when they received it for me to get my 'replacement'.

The 580 is much much better!

Took 4 weeks including the royal wedding and all the bank hols
