there would be no oc on anything whatsoever. so playing csgo should be fine for a coupla weeks until he can get a new psu (its only 4 days old from pcworld). and im also guessing it would be a better bet than the 750ti
 
then you will be fine. my system as overclocks and a more power hungry gpu in game use i use about 350w of power at the plug

thnx for quick reply. also one last thing he only has 4bg ram just now would this affects the fps in game with the 760 gfx card? he can get the card today but will need to wait for ram to be delivered on tues/wed.
 
He doesn't need a new PSU 430w is loads for a GTX760 setup.

The processor he has is quite slow however - still capable of playing the latest games but the framerates won't be great in many intensive titles no matter what card you use - and 8GB of ram would also be ideal.

as long as he gets max settings at 1080p on cs go he will be over the moon
