would a corsair 430w psu be enough to run the gtx 760??? he currently has the a10-7650k 1xssd and 1x500gb hdd and 1 fan

Recommend minimum PSU is 500w, personally I wouldn't go below this even though I managed to get my GTX580 SLI to run happily with a 550w PSU albeit for a short time prior to buying my 850w PSU!

there would be no oc on anything whatsoever. so playing csgo should be fine for a coupla weeks until he can get a new psu (its only 4 days old from pcworld). and im also guessing it would be a better bet than the 750ti

thnx for quick reply. also one last thing he only has 4bg ram just now would this affects the fps in game with the 760 gfx card? he can get the card today but will need to wait for ram to be delivered on tues/wed.

thnx what i was actually meaning was 4gb do so he can buy the psu 1st or better of with ram 1st but you answered that for me

He doesn't need a new PSU 430w is loads for a GTX760 setup.

The processor he has is quite slow however - still capable of playing the latest games but the framerates won't be great in many intensive titles no matter what card you use - and 8GB of ram would also be ideal.

as long as he gets max settings at 1080p on cs go he will be over the moon
