Gigabyte H61MA-D2V Intel H61 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard

Hi, I see this mobo has 4 pci-e slots. Can I actually use all 4 slots for 4 graphics cards (on pci-e 1x to 16x risers) or do some of these slots disable as others are used?

I am talking about this mobo

That mobo only has 1xPCI slot, so I don`t see where you are getting 4 PCIE slots from.

Do you mean the D3V? The D2V is mini-ITX.

Only has 1 PCI-E slot. The others are PCI, for things like sound cards, network card, USB cards etc.

Yes it had 4 PCI-E slots. But 3 of them are expansion ports, one is for a GPU.

Sorry, I was looking at the mITX version.
Even so, you can only install 1xGpu.

I just wanna make it clear that I dont care about the limited bandwidth available through a 1x pci-e slot, just as long as it runs. For example I can run 5 GPU's on the Z77A-G45 using 1x to 16x risers, however when you do that one of the PCIE 1x slots is disabled when its neighbour is used and the other needs a pci-e 1x needs presence short. I just wanted to know if the H61MA-D2V has a similar issue where if you can actually use all 4 slots or does one/two of them get disabled when you use their neighbours. I guess im just gonna have to buy it and test it out.

Pretty sure GPU's cant run using those risers because they are not compatible.

Wish you luck, but I would be very surprised if it works. I think you would just be wasting money.
You might be better off opening a thread in the motherboard or graphics forums.

If you want a decent mobo without breaking the bank consider THIS. It can happily run twin GPUs in sync. Being a Z series mobo you have sataIII and USB3 and overclocking options for K CPUs. It's a little more than the H61 but worth the cash, it's BIOS can be upgraded to UEFI aswell which is nice

So I got the mobo today and I am running 4x7850's overclocked to 1120mhz. I am using some 1xto16x PCIE risers. If you want pics let me know.
