Ive read the above comments and I shall clear a few things up in the OP as to avoid any confusion.


The most amount of points is 60.

Only one person can get 60 points due to the first two tests being for ALL boards and CPU clocks.

As for the 3D Mark scores, first on the nose gets the full fat 20 points. Any one afterwards will all get a score based on their current position entered in date order.

If there are ties for first place then points will be decided on the following.
- The underclock eg 20% will see a 80point bonus.
- the overclock at 160% will see a 60point bonus.
- Points will be deducted by 1 for every point you are away from the 3dmark score. eg 6000 required, score of 5995 would see a 5point reduction.

This way we can see who has achieved the best results.

Currently without a PC as I am missing a SSD/HDD for the new system.. Iphone isnt that good at trolling the forums and editing with lol.

Not to be picky, but I think my OC is slightly wrong
4494/2660 is 1.68947368 no? (so 168.95%)

That is corect but your cpu-z reads 2.67ghz as stock speed for some reason hence my calculation.

But you are indeed right so I shall update this in a few.

Certainly is getting nice and close, wonder how much more people can push their cpus

The first two categories are open to ALL cpus and sockets. The last group is open to the 7 groups mentioned however only your single best result can be entered so if you have an exact sciore and others do too youll get the next point score so its in your interest to enter a group with no results as you stand a better chance of the full fat 20 points.

There seems to be an extraneous rule in the competition rules because at the top it says "The prize will be awarded to the highest points score" and then lower down it says the recipient will be chosen randomly from all customers who have made any purchase...

Methinks the lower down rule shouldn't be there!

The only way you can knock him off top spot now is to beat 235% Overclock and to beat the insanely low 3.03% Underclock.
