Gigabyte Mobo & RAID

In the manual for my Gigabyte mobo, it says to copy the RAID drivers onto a flash drive, and install them while installing Windows. If I want to use RAID for storage drives, and not the OS drive, can I wait until Windows has installed, and then install the drivers from the desktop?

Should be able to - you only need to install them at that point if the OS needs them to boot.

What RAID are you looking at using and which version of Windows?

Just looking at a simple mirror across two large capacity mecanical drives, and Windows 10.

Planning on a single ssd for the os drive
