%^&$ing motherboard!

Nope , default speeds timing etc no overclock

12 mins into memtest 1.70 errors all over the place

For a giggle I rebooted and let windows Xp try and load , blue screened just as it was about to bring up the logo and rebooted itself

ram voltage to normal: reads 2.384v with 2 sticks , reads 2.368v with 4 sticks in Bios

how u reading the mem voltage?

whats the new bios do?

does it actually tell you the voltages in the bios now instead of just PASS/FAIL?

The new Bios shows the actual voltage being applied to the ram

I have now reduced the memory voltage to +0.3 ( which reads 2.25V in Bios)

Why not try the F2 bios, as this works stable on my system with 4 1GB sticks of balistix / running @3200 version 1 board.

I have tried F2 , F4 , F5 versions of Bios , but no joy

Yes mate, running e6600 @ 8X400 = 3200 with the mem set at 1-1.

Im quite interested to find out what happens with this, I have ordered the same motherboard and 4 1gb sticks of Geil PC6400, I guess I will see how stable things are with them tomorrow night
