I am building a rig (only my second) and need help on finding a case. The problem frankly is I have rather large hands and my last rig was built in a massive full tower, but even there I had a hard time not breaking things. I would really appreciate suggestions! Components are as follows:

CPU- Intel i5
Motherboard- Gigabyte GA-P55M UD4
Memory- Gskill Ripjaw 4 GB (2 x 2GB) 1600mhz
Cooling- Corsair H50 Watercooling
PSU- Thermaltake Toughpower 1000W (totally necessary...)
GPU- GeForce 8800 GTS (this damn thing is really bulky!)
Hard Drives- Seagate 1TB 7200, and two WD 10000 Raptors

Ok there you have it! I am looking to have a solid gaming platform so I plan to be OCing after some research so it may get hot in there!

Bugget £70-100 but willing to stray from that if there is a reason.

Haf 922
Largish sized full tower £94

Dimension (W / H / D) Main: 253 x 502 x 563 mm / 10.0 x 19.7 x 22.2 inches

If you can stretch the budget to £129 The even larger HAf 932

Dimension (W / H / D) (W) 243 x (H) 560 x (D) 564 mm / 9.6 x 22.0 x 22.2 inch

But tbh for 2 inches size difference for £35 is a bit  but either should have ample room for the h50 rad and ample fans to keep it all cool

hmm never seen it before so just googled it.

I like the look of it but for £135-140 approx I'ld edge towards one of the HAF's

I was also looking at some after market type cases on Ebay (of all places). There seems to be a pretty decent and cheap selection but I am a bit worried about the Gigabyte P55 UD4 possibly not being configured for them. Is my fear well founded?

Also on air flow I believe I read something to the effect that moving air out of a case is done better with fans that achieve higher pressure? Would that mean that the small/faster fans are more effective than the big 200m but slower fans?

just beware of ebay with poor build quality and little or no warrenty on the case

Its all about positive or negative airflow which inreturn effects the fan size and fan RPM.

Positive air flow: More air being sucked into the case than being exhausted
Higher CFM in Lower CFM out

Negative Air flow: More air being exhausted from the case than being sucked in
Higher CFM out Lower CFM in

Its personal preference really, and depends on each fans "Cubic Feet per Minute" Airflow as to what you get.

1 Huge fan at 60CFM input and 2 smaller fans at 25CFM each (50cfm) output would mean you have a positive Airflow bu the slower smalller fans will most likely be quieter

If the case is atx compliant then the UD4 will fit. If you buy a case too ridiculously cheap it'll have things like the holes drilled in slightly the wrong place, and you'll cut your hands to pieces. The case is a bad thing to save money on.

Yeah I am going to go with a known name. I can barely work with a good case! With a bad one...

Think its between Antec 902 or the Coolmaster HAF 922. Thoughts?
