Good afternoon all.

In my bios menu it states the current bios version as F10.
On the Gigabyte website the latest stable version is F18.
But once I had downloaded it and tried to execute it in Windows I got the message that it wasn't suitable for win7 64bit?

I can't see on the website about different OS versions?

Can anybody help?

Thanks.

Dean.

Have you extracted the file that's downloaded and then placed the BIOS file on to a USB pen drive and tried using QFlash found within the BIOS?

Only use QFlash as its the only safe way of doing it.

Extract the the file that's downloaded and you will see three bits inside, one of them is the BIOS name and around 4MB in size, that s the file to place onto a USB drive and then use QFlash.

If the file isn't right for the board Qflash will reject it, then you know you have got the wrong one.

Thank you kindly for your replies.

I will do this right now.

Another question; on boot up and bios I can only see 3/4 of the screen up until windows asks me for my password. Any ideas what that could be?
