Gilbern Invader, one of only 78 made, guy driving it was a really nice scouser, he's done a Ford DOHC conversion + A Cosworth box to it for better economy and more power! But has kept the original 3.0 V6 and box, TAX exempt and £83 Classic Insurance  Was on about selling it, couldn't believe how much he wanted for it, if I had storage I would've bought it there and then! :(

Cosworth BOA from a late-model Granada Scorpio. 220bhpish out of the box and bolts up to a Type9 or T5.

If he said 'cosworth box' then probably a T5.

He's asking more than twice what it is worth. Despite their rarity, Gilberns only ever attract over £5k if they have provinence and originality. That has neither.

Best described as 'like piloting a boat with an Essex V6'.

I fitted the engine from one of these into a 1971 LandRover many years ago. Car had long since vanished before anyone scathes me for breaking one.
