I kind of figured he had left since he had been inactive for a while now.

It is a shame he has decided to leave the mod team, he was probably the most respected (and feared) out of the whole mod team.

I too was expecting bad news when I red Spie's OP, thank god he has just decided to call it a day.

Life sometimes has to have it's priority and Gilly has found happiness in his life and is a dedicated man and as such needs to dedicate it to more important things. It's strange seeing Gilly as a non Moderator, he's been one ever since I can remember.

Cheers to you Mat, thanks for the laughs and the good times and also helping us out through the bad times on the forums.

I noticed he wasn't really posting much.

Props to Sir Gilly for managing to re-integrate with the real world. Seldom happens these days. :D
 
That is sad to hear.

Gilly often got flak, quite disgracefully, from people who just didn't know him for who he is in that what you see is what you get. No bull, no gloss, just that is what I think, 'ave it.

I do hope he continues to post. I have met him a few times and I have a lot of time for the lad.

Keep poking your nose in from time to time Gilly. :)

He has found happiness in his private life. What more can you want ?
