It's as much to say thanks for all the hard work and good luck with the family etc as it is to say goodbye.

Just had a thought though, now Gilly is no longer a moderator he can add anyone he wants to his ignore list so there are upsides as well. Ok he could have simply banned them before but if there was no reason to ban them the situation would remain.

I vote he does... if it does create a hole in the space-time continuum, it'll certainly be a lot more interesting than CERN... and cost a lot less money too.

Really don't agree with anything you said Azagoth. You always seem to try and find negatives in things.

Gilly did a lot of good work for this forum, his posts often witty and many people (I did not) met him. We are happy he is moving on to real life issues, but his reign as an admin / mod prior to that was a literal era in OCUK forums.

Wasn't Gilly made an administrator about the time that I joined, because I think I remember him being a mod for a while?
