Actually, after procrastining for longer then I should, it's not actually recessive per se but "incomplete dominant", which means there is a high chance of a ginger kid if once parent carries the ginger allele, although only ~40% of people carry it.

i don't think this is in the same league! Ive never heard of a ginger not being employed because of their disability, however you hear of blacks being refused all the time!
