Girl scout cookies... massively over-rated

You've probly seen on American sitcoms and stuff people going on about how great girl scout cookies are. Well i had the opportunity to buy some and ended up buying about 400 packets, because I always heard how great they are and it was for a good cause (christian youth para-militarism).

Just tried some and they taste like ****. They are about the same as the cheapest no-name biscuits you could possibly find in poundland or some place.

I was laughing all the way through this post, from the hilarious title to the final Poundland comparison. Genius :D

Quick review:

"Thin mints":
4 out of 10
pretty disgusting, maybe something you would get free on a third world airline.

"Lemonades":
2/10
tastes the way toilet cleaner smells

"shortbread"
2/10
I'd rather eat a stick of unsalted butter

"caramel delites"
1/10
absolutely horrendous, coconut makes it even worse

"thanks-a lot"
5/10
These are the best ones, with some type of quasi-chocolate topping.

"peanut butter patties"
2/10
I highly doubt there is any peanuts in them. Powdery filling and disgusting waxy american "chocolate".

If anything they will be good comfort food for bartering in the post-apocalyptic black economy. A few boxes of peanut butter patties would probly buy me someone's wife/daughter to add to my harem.

Which is a bit pointless as the butter used will still go rancid in a year or so.

Long term food storage means you store the basics like flour and sugar, then you make something out of that, not just buy ready made biscuits and stuff those in a tin.

Do it properly or don't bother.

Trust me they are choc full of preservative and I doubt there's any butter in them, basically sugar, hydrogenated palm kernel oil, and preservatives. Best before date is over a year away, but vacuum sealed in mylar with oxygen absorbers stored in dark at low temp I think they will last a few years.

Lol the scouts totally kwerked you, you must be feeling pretty kwerked about now though. Kwerk up, after all things are bound to get kwerkier.
