Given the choice you would live ?

Somewhere in Scandinavia could be nice (assuming I naturally turn out to be a fluent Norwegian/whatever speaker). I'd like really remote bits, but they still have the high standard of living.

Yep, I'm decided; Norway. In a massive fortress mansion built into the side of a fjord, with its own submarine harbour and in-mountain indoor runway for small planes. Ofc, I'd get it all sorted so that sea wouldn't erode my place, and I'd have a flat in Oslo if that fell through, or just for normal living.

edit: Canada might have a similar sort of thing going on...

Already answered once (Tuscany) but then I thought "what if I had to pick a city?".....

Can't choose between London or Hong Kong......love them both.

Montana, USA. Spent a year there already, beautiful. Lots of weather, cheap skiing, scenery, no sales tax; its an option....

Gold coast of Australia

Lived in Canada outside Vancouver, nice but too much rain.

Lived in the UK again nice but too damp

Living in The Netherlands, nice country, nice people but the cost of living here and the tax system is just stupid imo
