True, last film of his I really enjoyed was American Gangster. The last duel has been on my list for a while.

Apparently the versions where everyone sits down and talks through their differences until they negotiate a compromise didn't go down so well with audiences at the test screenings.

This is Gladiator (also the opening sequence fighting the Barbarian hoards).

I hate remakes and modern sequels with a passion, they are rarely better than the original.

There's cg and there's what superhero movies do which is so overdone to this point it's gotten utterly boring.

Let's ruin a great film by tacking on a totally unneeded sequel. I mean why? Oh, because money of course. I'll pretend it doesn't exist.
