My current computer desk has had it so time for a new one. I'm looking for a glass desk, preferably minimum 6' wide with chrome frame. I've looked at most of the usual high street suspects but can't find anything. Anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks

I got mine free from B&Q, whilst buying a load of other stuff she failed to scan my desk in so I made way with £200 of free desk - it's safe to say I ran to my car :p

I had one a while ago, it was horrific. always looked dirty and seeing all the wires and crap under desk was annoying.

Homebase used to do a really good one for £50, a corner desk.

Amazing value, and nice.

Not sure if they still do.

Nothing I really like on the John Lewis site so other suggestions welcome.

I've used a glass desk at work for a while and have managed to keep that reasonably clean, and I'm an expert at hiding wires:D

I suppose it depends on the style of the desk and type of setup your running.

But in terms of looking dirty, I know what you mean. Dust seems to show a 100x more visibly than on my pine desk.

Had a look there already, they just do the same stuff as the rest of the high street muppets.

The search continues.

the table is mirrored here (ie, the pc bit is on the right), and you don't have to attatch the weird looking shelves, awesome desk, it's really solid

probably about £70inc

really solid construction.

my cm110 case has about 1.5mm clearance when on the shelf!

it's pretty deep, it's bigger than it looks there mate

can fit 3x 19" tft's on it (or was it 4 i can't remember) have a look at the dimensions for it, it's solid construction, the tempered glass is about 7mm thick and weighs about 25kg

edit, also ..

Its not so much the depth, its more the width. I'm looking for 180cm as a minimum, couldn't go back to anything smaller these days. I work from home quite a bit and need room for my own 24" monitor, two laptops and enough room for my filing system (which is generally throwing things on the desk and seeing how long they stay there for).
