Glass pint glasses to be replaced with plastic

Plastic does ruin the taste somewhat. I have to say I can understand plastic cups in concerts nightclubs that sort of thing.

But I mean just a local which sell Beer..... as in proper Beer ale and such. Just seems well stupid. It will put me off going to local pubs.

Solid polycarbonate can also be a weapon as much as glass is.

Erm, no they won't. A number of clubs I visit have these type of containers and have been using/re-using them for years, probably replacing them once they become damaged or such, just like glass ones.

Knifes and fists I'd say. Followed by bottles of beer from shops. Then pint glasses imo - I do live in one of the rougher parts of Europe so base my opinion on that. England and Wales crime figures are well, just that. But home office presides over whole of UK, with a snapshot example.

In my opinion, its a brilliant idea, so many people are badly injured, from the use of glass as an offensive weapon, plastic isnt that big of a deal, id happy drink from a plastic pint pot.
