Glass's Valuation Request

lol@this thread. He doesn't have a Glass's Guide he's just putting valuations into the Vauxhall NetworkQ car valuer. This is powered by Glass's and gives you an indication of the price you could expect from your car as a tradein at a NetworkQ dealer.

It's CLOSE to trade price in Glass's itself but not quite the same.

Did I ever claim to have anything else :( nope? Did I make myself out to be a trader, nope? Now get off your high horse, didn't see you offering to help. I have linked to VX so many times in previous threads for people to do this themselves, I thought as none ever does whats the point this time.

However, 1) they are pretty much spot on glasses, 2) I have access to full glasses valuation should I need to, however calling up a mate who works in the trade vs using VX for the few £ difference (if any) hardly seems like a good use of anyones time or resources.

;):D

Well yer......I mean how many posts in GD could be solved by google, yet we still get the threads?

Gave up linking the VX site, besides I kinda enjoy pricing up the cars in a geeky way :(

Someone do me a glasses valuation

2006 (06) 55k 1.9JTDm not sure if the options are needed for the valuation but they are:
Tan Leather
18" multispokes
Rear Parking Sensors

Wondering weather I should just be looking to trade-in for the E60 or sell privately.

Honest condition of the car: ding to the lower sill (multi story car park kerb), all four alloys need a refurb, all motorway miles so stone chips to the front bumper and dent on the front bumper from a flying apple! I would estimate £600 - £800 to fix this up so need to know whether the valuations say I should!

TIA

Why does the network Q valuation site have Maserati but not Porsche as an option? Why would someone with a Maserati trade in for a Vauxhall more than a Porsche owner?

Part-exchange Price:
Excellent condition: £7340
Average condition: £6590
Below average condition: £5810

Yesterday a BMW dealer offered me £4.5k in part-ex for mine!

If that's for a GT then I'm defo going to sell privately.

A search on Auto trader for 2006 GT's shows the cheapest at 12k nationally although it is a 56 reg and has 47k miles on it. It also doesn't appear to have parking sensors or the 18" wheels

Thanks for the insight though!

Hi Wonder lander, sorry I should have said what car it was. It's a 51 plate BMW 330d Sport with 115k miles. :)

Me doubly confused.

I asked for a parkers valuation on an Alfa GT and you've given me one for a BMW 330d sport? Have a missed a post or something or was your post nothing to do with my request?

Sorry if I've got the wrong end of the stick!

Are you that lazy you'd rather moan that nobody has done it for you than bother to read this thread?

Look at post 22 - I've given you the link people are using to get the prices. Look it up yourself, it takes 15 seconds.
