really? i thought artic monkeys was ok, all the songs sounded the same. yet somehow headlining. when i went to reading at 98 page and plant played on friday night. i don't think artic monkeys earned the rights to headline glasto, from what i saw they were pretty weak, both in energy and connection to the crowd.

Everybody loves them though so.....

you can still love them, i just don't think they were that good, overrated is the word. i think thats the worst 2 set of bands i've seen from 9 to 1pm plot

I truly, truly hate them which is a fact i gleefully tell anybody when they come up in convocation. Poorly made poorly played drivel.

Infact there is not a single band in the glasto line up i give a damn about.

Damn hippies

Who was that guy with ginger hair dreadlocks singing in the studio a few minutes ago? Was just him and a guitar. Didn't catch the name of the artist.

Arcade Fire were pretty stunning.

Missed the Arctic Monkeys:(

Did anyone see Peaches Geldof with Colin from Radio 1 (on BBC 3?). What an absolute tard she was, an embarrassment to her dad. So naive and spoiled as well; 'Oh I'm going to see Patrick Wolf tomorrow, I'm good friends with him and he said he's giving up music'. I bet he was taking the **** out of you love. I felt sorry for Colin.

Funniest thing was after she left Norman Cook came on, Colin basically said to him 'If your kid ever turns into that give her a slap'. :D

interesting article about the behind the scenes stuff (not band related)

Loads of poo and millions of gallons of water...

jsut seen the beat boxer shlomo on there.

WOW mesmerising, absolutley awesome, reminded me of razel, but english and with some electronics to help loop some sounds. artic monkeys were good and i thought kasabian were ace.

and omg i think amy winehouse is filthy little w**** but god i want her ;)

Fratelli's & Arcade Fire were awesome.

Band I hadn't heard of before, who I really enjoyed watching were Mumm-ra.

Why anyone would want to spend a weekend in a puddle of muddy turd being rained on and surrounded by dirty smelly drunk hippies is far beyond my understanding.

oh and i watched the highlights lastnight and im not a fan of them or anything but thought kasabian where pretty good , certainly got the crowd into it , bloc party where good too but then i am a big fan of them

Lily Allen is hideous...but at the same time of being annoying, dirty southerner...

... there is something rather appealing about her that id love to spend a dirty night with..

Not sure, i hate her...but id definitely not say no! :( :)...

p.s. cant stand her music

The kooks are pretty rocking.... You don't quite get the same atmostphere through the tv though :(

I want to be there! :(

John Fogerty (of CCR) is kicking ass on BBC4 atm. First band that can actually rock.

Makes the other bands look like utter amateurs.
