Hoping to catch some of the following on TV: The War on Drugs, QOTSA, Warpaint, Gabriels, Phoenix, Caroline Polachek, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Jockstrap, Deadletter, Romy.
The Pyramid Stage is actually really underwhelming this year. :/ Probably a good year to have gone as I don't really fancy the chaos of the main stage!

Thought the Chemical Bothers(e: or even arctic monkeys) live was a quality production listened on radio6 stream, rather annoying it wasn't sync'd with the tv pictures;
couldn't see the 4K video stream on Iplayer on Roku stick though
At apparently £340 ticket - those people don't have mortgage problems, or couldn't resell

Those prices aren't too bad, at wembley arena i was paying £8.40 a pint last week.

Been pretty poor so far.
Caught a bit of CHRVCHES, Foos, Hot Chip and the end of Arctic Monkeys on iPlayer, but looking at the schedules not really much standing out for me for the rest of the weekend.

Don't think I'm watching much today but yesterday Chvrches, Foo Fighters, Hozier, Fever Ray, Royal Blood were all good. Watched Arctic Monkeys too but tbh I'm not really a fan.

Yes they were excellent. Lizzo was also decent and I'm pleasantly surprised with the form of GnR. Axl looks like he's on it tonight and we aren't getting the bad karaoke version. Smokin it so far.
I’m watching and I’m pretty surprised by the extent they are playing some lesser known songs at Glasto… I mean, double talking jive?! It’s basically a Slash noodle fest. Brill, but for Glasto?
Also, the mic volume for Axl keeps jumping all over the place which is a little frustrating.
Looking forward to seeing them in Hyde Park on Friday!

Blimey Guns & Roses are god awful, what a terrible set so far, the foos were amazing last night.

Yea I'll be there, seeing Def leppard/Motley Crue the day after at Wembley
Personally, I don't get the Foo Fighters. I know they are massive but I just find it all quite bland as a genre. They have a few decent songs but they all merge into one without any melody to discern them. Love Dave Grohl but for me the material underwhelms.
Picked up a bit with Welcome to the Jungle now, Mr Brownstone too, two of my fav tracks of theirs. So glad I saw them back when they were still great.
They should just stick with the old stuff, no point with new stuff and Velvet Revolver stuff at Glasto. Should have opened with Nightrain too.

The foo fighters are all energy, great for gigs with big crowds but the music isn’t anything special.
Arctic Monkeys were very disappointing. Seen the set described as 70s lounge music and that pretty much captures it.

I used to think I liked the Foos live but they bored me to death last time I saw them in a stadium in London a few years ago. Every song was milked out forever with an extended middle section / outro like it was the last song in the set. Then they had the cheek to play covers! Just stfu and play the god damn songs. Was Dave on a massive ego trip? It was insufferable
