Well this might seem like an odd question to ask but I'm in the need of some gloves for gaming.

Every winter, my house is too expensive to heat so I end up cancelling most of my gaming subscriptions because I just can't react quick enough, the joints in my fingers go stiff and I find it really difficult to play most games that require quick reactions.

so I'm in need of some thin type gloves that will keep my hands moderately warm so I can actually play.

Anyone else have trouble like this?

I can't do anything, pc gaming, guitar, writing.

Most the people (read wierdies) that suffer from cold fingers at work just wear fingerless gloves to keep their hands warm. Keep enough precision to type but keep their hands toasty apparently.

A guy I know rubs Vaseline on the back of his hands to keep them warm when fishing during the winter. Might be worth a try.

haha its not just me! Im having a nightmare playing games just now

maybe try those cycling gloves they have at Tesco and wilkinsons or an actual sport shop i think finger less gloves could be better but you need to put gloves on before your hands get cold as they aren't particularly good a generating heat. Or maybe get a small paraffin/camping heater that you can carry round with you.

Yeah I suffer with being crap in the cold too! it's so annoying you know you haven't reacted fast enough because your hands have ice forming on them! lol

How about a small electric heater. I got given mine but its amazing. Turn it and in about 5-10mins has the office room toasting whilst the rest of the house is freezing cold.

i have a small heater in my room now it's getting colder. i only use it in the same room for about 10 - 30 minutes and it's baking! (and does so for most of the day)

I've got one, though it takes ages to heat up the room and I can't run it all the time, it's really just the hands.

thanks for the suggestions, I'll try and see whether their are some thin gloves in a sports shop, though I recall I've got some electricians gloves in college that are insulated on the palm and fingers and really quite thin so they might provide grip also!

Same my room is freezing in the winter.

But I do have some industrial thermal type gloves. There good, really thin, but warm still, and have a rubber grip. Dont know where you can buy them, because I got them from work.

There called polyco matrix grip d.
