Yes, bit of an odd one, not looking for any medical advice, just asking on the off chance.

Basically, when at work, I bit my finger nails and the skin around it. Yes, I know it's bad, yes I know there is that bitter stuff you can put on your nails, but I feel the best thing would be wearing gloves. Sadly, I've yet to find any suitable, and wondering if OCUK has any recommendations :)

I am not prepared to encourage your blatantly obvious dodgey behavior.

I used to do this as well, though I never bit my nails which in some ways makes it worse, horrible habit.

Anyway I just used plasters, just get some cheap but decently sticky fabric ones, I found the plastic/waterproof ones just don't stick to skin very well so the tops get caught on things.

Just get some Latex/Nitrile ones, then stick your finger up your anus.
I wouldn't want to bite my nails then.

Get some shopping bags from a supermarket, not the normal ones the thin ones for packing fruit. They provide the flexibility you will need when typing.

Well yeah but you would look like a complete nut case.

Boss: "Why are you wearing latex gloves, occasionally trying to gnaw at them and then grumbling at yourself?"

Awkward conversation HOOOOOO.

I think wearing any type of glove while sitting at a computer is going to raise eyebrows.
